After flying for a time up the Snake River Canyon, we climb to cross some ridges to save a bit of time. Then we see Jackson and Jackson Hole (JAC), Wyoming, with the Teton Mountains in the background.

In the broad valley just past the town is the National Elk Refuge where numerous Elk come down from the surrounding mountains during the harsh Wyoming Winters to feed.
